30+ White Hen Party outfits for every type of Bride

Honestly the whole idea and tradition around having to wear white on your wedding day is an outdated and archaic symbol of the patriarchy. HOWEVER, sometimes a gal just wants to wear a pretty white dress because she wants to. How to Hen (meaning me…) is totally on board with that.

Wearing white on your Hen (Bachelorette) weekend is an indication of this and so I thought I would celebrate this lovely freedom of choice by showing you my favourite white looks for your other special day/night/weekend/ whatever, no matter

what kind of Bride you are.

Super Casual / Active

If you’re the kind of Bride who would rather keep it casual and sporty than slinky and glam, that doesn’t mean that you can’t indulge in a bit of white – wearing tradition.  T- shirt dresses like this one or this one are a popular option these days.

If you’re the kind of Bride who would rather keep it casual and sporty than slinky and glam, that doesn’t mean that you can’t indulge in a bit of white – wearing tradition.  T- shirt dresses like this one or this one are a popular option these days.

Make it a mesh T shirt dress and you can then add any other splashes of colour or style underneath it to suit your personality.

Or this White hoodie would look cute with white jeans, white short, or (good quality) white leggings and of course, some crisp white trainers.

Both options are perfect for the Active or the Casual bride.

Want someone to do the hen party research you

don’t have time for?

Casual

If you still want to keep it causal but a little less sporty, there are plenty of options.

Cosy white jumpers like this one or this one are a great option. Ideal if you are headed somewhere a little cooler for your hen weekend.

You can pair them with regular jeans or if you’d rather stick to an all-white ensemble, go for these ripped white jeans or even dress them up a little with a pair of white flares

If you’d like something causal but a little dressier, why not try a beachy maxi dress. Keep it casual white a pair or trainers, or go for sandals or Grecian style wedges for a little more of a glam look. Needless to say, this goes great with a Greeks and Romans theme.

Cute and Sweet

If you’re feeling “girly” but don’t fancy going super glam, go for a sweet little dress like this. It’s a nice daytime option that you can accessorise to suit your style and whatever you’re going to be up to.

This little ruffle sleeve number is also very cute, but hints at a little more of a sexy night time vibe too.

This soft, floaty number lets you feel feminine by showing off your legs but keeping the top half covered up with pretty lace inserts

Dress up or down

Shirt dresses are a super popular style right now and they are a fab option for your bachelorette outfit because you can dress them up or down depending on what you are doing. I love this skater shirt dress, but this puff sleeve one is cute too.

I absolutely love a batwing sleeve. This gorgeous dress looks soft and flowy enough on top to wear with trainers for a more casual vibe, but the embellishments and the open back mean it would also look awesome with some bling and your best stilettos.

If you don’t really want your legs out, pair your favourite jeans with a statement top or bodysuit like this one. You can dress it up with accessories and hair or keep it relatively informal with flats and a messy updo

Slinky and sexy

If you are so over being told to be ‘demure’ and want to show the world your bangin’ body on your hen weekend, then look no further than dresses like this sexy cut out number.

This lacy bustier dress is sure to remind your future spouse just how damn lucky they are!

If you want to rock the bodycon look but would love just a tiny bit of help to feel your most confident self, then this midi dress is ideal. It contains a little shapewear to just smooth everything slightly in all the best places. Yasss!

Smart and stylish

If your goal is to be more stylish than sexy, then why not rock a gorgeous suit like this ivory one from Asos, with matching blazer, waistcoat and trousers. Soooo sharp!

Dresses more your thing? Try a stylish plunging neckline in a tie waist dress like this one.

I am also OBSESSED with a cape/cloak sleeve. This dress is stunning and will make you look regal AF, as you should on your bachelorette weekend!

A Jumpsuit is also a great option for a simple, classy hen party outfit that’s also super practical for any activities where you don’t want to accidentally flash more than you meant to. This one is also gorgeous, floaty sleeves FTW!

Glam and sparkle

If all you want to do is sparkle, then this glittery skater number is perfect. Okay, it’s cream not white, but close enough when it’s this pretty!

Channel your inner Arianna with this tiny little sequin number.

This sultry dress with a drape accent really lets everyone know that the glamourous bride has arrived.

Or you could opt for this stunning cut-out dress to make a real statement with silver overlay.

Make a statement

Make a statement with a dress that features a big accent like this one.

Or this one with stunning ‘extreme’ ruffles and embroidery detail.

Grab attention with giant, feathery sleeves and miles of sparkle in this old Hollywood glam maxi dress

Or stay a little more covered up, but with plenty of show-stopping detail in the lace overlay in this lovely bardot neck midi dress.
