I love a DIY Bachelorette, but there are a few things that I consider essential to make sure everything comes together how you want it.
Weddings as we know them have changed. Hopefully not forever, but we do need to adapt to the new rules and regulations around weddings wherever we are. Mostly, weddings are now WAY smaller and more intimate and usually involve just a few close friends and family. But it’s not a wedding without CAKE. So, I have collected some of my favourite small wedding cakes that show that less sometimes really is more.
Honestly the whole idea and tradition around having
to wear white on your wedding day is an outdated and archaic symbol of the
patriarchy. HOWEVER, sometimes a gal just wants to wear a pretty white dress
because she wants to. How to Hen (meaning me…) is totally on board
with that.
Wearing white on your Hen (Bachelorette) weekend is an
indication of this and so I thought I would celebrate this lovely freedom of
choice by showing you my favourite white looks for your other special
day/night/weekend/ whatever, no matter what kind of Bride you are.
